Kathy Plomin

Kathy Plomin has lived in Lexington, KY for over thirty years and is currently a candidate for Council Member At Large in Lexington Fayette Urban County Government  2010 election. She is the former President/Chief Professional Officer for United Way of the Bluegrass a position she held for over nine years since 2000. Prior to that she had a 21 year career with the CBS affiliate WKYT having served as Vice President of Sales and Marketing.

Kathy has served on numerous local, regional and national boards and has received much recognition for her leadership and contributions back to her community. She is excited and honored to be a member of the inaugural class of Emerge Kentucky leading to change women's status in elected offices in her home state.
