Pam Bertani
Pam Bertani is a patent lawyer and litigator and an Oakland, California native. Pam's practice includes prosecuting and litigating intellectual property-related matters, primarily involving patent, trademark and copyright law. As a former research immunologist at Bayer Pharmaceuticals, Pam designed and conducted test protocols to evaluate product constituents, and has analyzed epidemiological trends involving product liability litigation.
In 2007, Governor Schwarzenegger appointed Pam to the California Commission on Uniform State Laws, and she now serves as Chair of the California Commission. As Commissioner, Pam assists in drafting uniform legislation and testifying before the State Legislature in Sacramento. In addition, Pam works as a youth mentor, and is a Board member for the Interfaith Council, which is the governing board for the Heather House Shelter in Fairfield.
Pam's husband, Pastor Todd Bertani, is Senior Pastor at St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Fairfield. Todd and Pam have two fantastic children, Tyler and Dylan, who both attend Rolling Hills Elementary School.
