Anita Torres

A native New Mexican, Anita Torres has served as the Executive Director of Emerge New Mexico for the past two years. Anita also lived in California for a few years as well.  Since the 1970's, Anita has worked on numerous candidate campaigns, voter registration campaigns and issue campaigns in California, Texas and New Mexico.  Anita has been married for 23 years and has two daughters.  Anita is also a very active volunteer in her daughters' school, and occasionally on candidate and issue campaigns.
