Daela Gibson

Aside from her service in the Democratic Party, Daela is an active community member volunteering for several organizations at the local, state, and national level including the Crisis Call Center, Soroptimist International, and the American Legion Auxiliary.  She is highly involved in Nevada Girls State, and American Legion Auxiliary program, where she helps young women from Nevada learn about different city, county and state offices, how to run for these offices, and how to write legislation. Daela is a charter member of the Nevada Coalition for Suicide Prevention, and has served as vice chair of the coalition.

Currently Daela is a candidate for the Washoe County Commission.
