Laurie Gallian

Laurie Kaiser Gallian began living and working in Sonoma in 1981. As a small business consultant and a principal at a financial management consulting firm, Laurie joined the board of Soroptimist International of Sonoma Valley in 1993. While there, she has held every board position and advocated for women's rights and opportunities. She currently works as the Finance Manager for Sonoma Charter School, a public charter elementary school of which she is also a founding parent. With the High School graduation of her son, Laurie began to involve herself more in politics; she was the campaign manager for a successful city council campaign in Nov '06, and worked in '07 on the Sonoma County Climate Action Plan.

She was appointed to and currently serves on the City of Sonoma Community Services and Environment Commission. She is a founding Board member of the newly formed Sonoma Valley Democratic Women's Club.
