Erin Bilbray
Emerge Nevada
Executive DirectorErin is the founder of Emerge Nevada and is the longest serving Executive Director in the Emerge network. For the first year, with Erin's leadership, Emerge Nevada will pilot a unique high-touch field program targeting women voters with canvassing, phone banking and voter registration in the Woman to Woman Vote Program. Erin has spent the last 20 years as a political and strategic consultant to federal, state and local campaigns, focusing her consulting on "women only" candidates and progressive organizations. She also serves as a Democratic National Committee Woman and is attending the Democratic National Convention. Earlier this year she was featured in a video for President Obama's re-election campaign after writing a letter to the President titled "Dreams of our Daughters".

Representative JoCasta Zamarripa
Emerge Wisconsin Class of 2010
Representative JoCasta Zamarripa was born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and represents the 8th Assembly district. A true trailblazer, she is the first Latina to serve the Wisconsin Assembly, and she recently came out as bisexual member of the LGBT community. Representative Zamarripa is the Wisconsin chair of Latinos for Obama. Previously, she worked as a community outreach coordinator for Planned Parenthood of Wisconsin. Rep. Zamarripa was instrumental in forming a national partnership between Emerge America and the Planned Parenthood Action Fund to train more Planned Parenthood activists and staff to run for elected office.
